While you go out and choose our next president, why not also choose our next board of directors? The Chicagoland Chapter has voting open for all members in the area to choose 7 new board positions. To celebrate the close of our successful auto-x season, we will be having an awards dinner on Sunday, October 10th. The location will be: Connies Pizza in Westmont, IL at 5:00PM. If you have participated in the auto-x season, you are welcome to attend, but you MUST reserve your spot by sending me an e-mail: bills@audichicago.org

Thanks to all who made this season a success. It would not have been possible without all the great volunteers we have.

This might be the last chance for you to have fun with your car before old man winter keeps us indoors. The Tire Rack in South Bend will be hosting and the competition for class championships will be hotly contested. If you haven't been to an Autocross before, come on out and play. We were blessed with near-perfect weather last weekend for our annual Blackhawk Farms Driver's School. Over 100 Audi enthusiasts showed-up to learn more about their abilities and their car's limits. This was a great environment for members that are new to the club or who were new to Audi Driver's schools. Thanks to Mike Witbrod and his team of behind-the-scenes volunteers, we had a smoothly run, safe event. The number of smiles that were permanantly etched on the faces of participants were too numerous to count. For those that couldn't make it, please sign-up for the driver's school at Gingerman in South Haven, MI. We hope to see all of you out there!

Registration is open for the 5th autox of the season! The season is winding down, and remember that each class winners gets a 1 day driving school from CGI Motorsports!

Registration is now open for autocross #3 on Sunday June 20th. Celebrate Father's day by bringing dad along for a day of fun. Fathers participate for FREE with a paid entry from their son or daughter. A perfect way to bond with dad on this special day.

Last weekends events went great! Many people enjoyed both the Dyno Day & BBQ as well as the Spring Drive. Horsepower was tested and the countryside was enjoyed! Thanks to all who came out!

This weekend is going to be great! With the GRD Dyno Day & BBQ on Saturday at GRD in Naperville and the Annual Spring Drive on Sunday, there are plenty of chances to have a great time!

The Spring Drive is rapidly approaching! Join fellow Audi owners in a nice drive through the IL countryside and a nice meal to follow!

The first autox of the season went amazingly well! With over 40 people at the event and great weather, everyone had a great time! Times will be posted soon!

The first autox is almost here! With only a few days left, we are all pretty excited! There is still time to sign up. The Tire Rack is a great venue, and the winter has been LONG so shed those snow tires, throw on the nice rubber and lets autox!

If you sign up for the Autox Season Pass, not only will you get 6 events for the price of 5, but you will be registered for EACH one, we will reserve your number, and you will be guaranteed a spot. Just sign up for event #1, and choose the Season Pass option at the end of registration!

As we continue to improve the ACCCC Site, we are pleased to roll out the log in system. You can update your personal info, add and manage your cars, and soon, sign up for events. Just click on the bar to the left of your screen!

We have changed the date of the first autox of the 2004 season from Sunday, April 18th to Saturday, April 17th. It will still be held at the Tire Rack in South Bend, IN. Thanks!

Event Section

To celebrate the closing of our first year of autocross, ACCCC sponsored an awards dinner at Damen's in South Bend. The club paid for the food and drinks and donated all proceeds to the Greater Chicago Food Depository - $575 in total.

While there are still a few ends to tie up and bugs to work out, the site is live! Enjoy.
